A car is essential to fully explore the area. Take the D670 and turn into St-Michel-de-Fronsac with the church ahead of you. At the junction, just beyond the church, turn right. After 300m, turn left. After 400m you will see a house on your left. Immediately afterwards turn left down the track. We are at the end of the track.

The nearby town of Libourne (6km) is on the high speed TGV train line connecting Paris to Bordeaux. There are some  taxis (advisable to pre-book) and a bus service from Libourne to St-Michel-de-Fronsac.
